The Collector

The Collector is a Canadian supernatural drama television series about a man attempting to help save people who have bargained their souls with the Devil. After over 600 years of "collecting" the souls of people at the end of their 10-year deals, Morgan Pym (Chris Kramer) negotiates with the Devil for the ability to aid the damned in redeeming themselves rather than sending them to Hell. Under the Devil's mocking gaze, Morgan assists his "clients" in undoing the damage their deals have done because of the devil shifting good luck towards the client and away from others.

Moine du 13ème siècle à Nuremberg, Morgan Pym tombe éperdument amoureux d'une paysanne prénommée, Katrina. Sa dulcinée terrassée par la peste, il décide, furieux, de pactiser avec le Diable en lui vendant son âme contre quelques années de bonheur avec Katrina. Dix ans plus tard, le Diable vient réclamer son dû. Face au refus de Morgan, ils conviennent d'un nouvel accord : désormais immortel, l'ancien moine devient le collecteur des âmes vendues au Diable...

Morgan Pym (Chris Kramer), un monaco, nel 1322 D.C. si innamora di Katrina, che poco dopo morirà di peste; allora Morgan venderà l'anima al diavolo in cambio di dieci anni di vita con Katrina. Al termine dei dieci anni Katrina muore di nuovo di peste, e Morgan fa un nuovo patto con il diavolo, dovrà raccogliere le anime di chi, come lui, aveva fatto il patto con il diavolo. Dovrà trovare la persona, informarla che mancano 48 ore al termine dei dieci anni, e al termine delle 48 ore risucchiarne l’anima all’inferno. Siamo nel XXI secolo, Morgan incontra una giovane drogata che gli ricorda Katrina, allora va dal diavolo per rinegoziare le condizioni, Morgan ottiene dal diavolo la possibilità di passare le 48 ore con la persona per cercare di redimerla e quindi di salvarla dall'inferno.
