Second Strike (Part One)

Best is approached by DCI Bill Wicklow of the OCG regarding an operation into a major drugs ring which has links to his estranged brother, Joe. Best decides to go undercover to retrieve information on his criminal activities, and soon manages to infiltrate Joe's gang of friends in an attempt to get close to the ringleader, Lenny Boswell. However, Best soon finds himself becoming Boswell's golden boy - and it's not long before he asks him to take part in a major operation. Under the strain of the situation, Best begins to reconsider his career in the force in favour of a life on the run. Meanwhile, Stamp finds himself under investigation following the PolAcc involving Ackland, who begins to recover in hospital.
