Popeye is walking into town to sell his cow at the market. Along the way, he meets up with Wimpy and sells the cow to him for a bag of beans. Popeye is then run down by a speeding carriage that tramples both him and the beans into the road. The beans take root and a big beanstalk carries Popeye into the clouds.
Popeye returns from a record-setting trans-Atlantic sailing trip. He has spent seven sleepless days and nights on the high seas. He is very tired and needs sleep. He wants to call Olive Oyl but he falls asleep. He starts to sleepwalk onto the roof of the boat. Olive Oyl follows along, trying to prevent him from being hurt. She ends up getting in more trouble than Popeye does.
Popeye and Olive are going on an outing on Popeye's sailboat. Bluto, who's ever-trying to force his affections on Olive, sinks Popeye's boat and takes Olive aboard his own sailboat. Popeye, in the meantime, has been swallowed by a whale. When Popeye hears Olive's cry for help, he eats his spinach and takes care of business (as usual).
Treasure seekers Popeye and Olive are talking to the newest client in their office. She wants them to find an ancient sword, the Sword of Fitzwilly. They are all unaware that Bluto is spying on the office because a wizard has hired him to find the same sword. The woman gives Popeye the first clue to search at Stonehenge.
A young, attractive female client walks into the shack of Popeye & Olive Treasure Seekers Service Ltd. Popeye looks out his window and sees Bluto spying on him so he closes the shade. He looks around for the room for bugs and does not find any. He misses one bug wearing a trenchcoat and holding a microphone.
Popeye is at the Leagle Eagle Building in the office of Mr. Wimpy, Attorney, for the reading of his uncle's will. Olive is late but she is on her way, weaving through downtown city traffic. When she arrives, she takes the window washer's scaffolding to the upper floor instead of the elevator. As Popeye removes the office wall to let her in, the will is blown out by the wind.
A submarine emerges at the dock of Popeye & Olive Treasure Seekers Ltd., piloted by Marvin Meno. He wants to hire Popeye to help him find the treasure of his grandfather Captain Meno. Bluto tries to be part of the treasure hunt but Marvin only wants Popeye. Bluto sneaks into the sub after it submerges.
Popeye and Olive are out in the wilderness to do some camping. A sign says the area that they are camping in is inhabited by Bigfoot. Bluto is hiding in the bushes near their camping area. He decides to dress up like Bigfoot and harass them. Popeye and Bluto get into a fight to see who gets to stay with Olive. Bluto gives them a hard time and gets Olive into another life-threatening situation.
Olive is baking dinner in her oven and lighting the barbecue for her and Popeye in her high-rise apartment building. While she is cooking, she calls her sailor boyfriend to Popeye's Engine Company, where he is playing checkers with his fire dog. While talking to Olive, he sees smoke emanating from her building and rushes off to put it out. Meanwhile, across town at Bluto's Engine Company, Bluto wakes up to the alarm for the same fire.
In a galaxy far, far away (this episode is a parody of Star Wars), on Darth Bluto's (obviously Darth Vader) Death Star, Princess Olive-Pit (this can only be Princess Leia Organa) is putting a secret message in her droid. She is able to eject the droid out the trash chute just moments before Bluto and his stormtrooper capture her. The droid is found by the lowly trash man Popeye (this must be Luke Skywalker) in his space garbage ship. Popeye finds the Princess' message for help from Alta-Poppa (a parody of Obi-Wan Kenobi).
A mad scientist named Viktor creates an artificial robotic man who falls in love with Olive Oyl. He captures her and takes her back to the Castle Von Blutostein. After being rescued by Popeye, they find out that Viktor had also made an artificial robotic woman. The female robot looked exactly like Olive Oyl and it was only a case of mistaken identity.
Popeye and Princess Olive are out on the high seas with Wimpy at the helm. They spot a pirate ship hiding in an unnatural fog by a graveyard of ships. The pirate ship turns out to be that of the dreaded Blutobeard the Pirate. Popeye and Olive and are taken prisoners by Blutobeard and his salty and very crusty crew of four.
Popeye and Bluto go to an audition at Big Dome Studios for a Hollywood stuntman job. They are looking for a stuntman for a million-dollar movie called "Stunts Galore". The producer decides to let them both try out. During the audition, they fight each other constantly while trying to perform their best. In the end, they find out the producer gives the job to stuntwoman Olive.
While vacationing in Paris, Popeye and Olive meet Ivette Antoinette, a young girl who claims to be the great-great-great niece of former Queen of France Marie Antoinette and whose only inheritance is the queen's diary. Olive discovers the diary contains a clue about the queen's treasure and insists they find it for the girl.
The evil master villain Coldfinger has shot down a United States satellite and is holding it for ransom. The President calls Popeye on his special hotline for help. Popeye and Olive sail off at once for Coldfinger's hideout in the North Pole. Bluto hears about the hunt for the satellite and plans to get it before Popeye.
Popeye is sightseeing down the streets of New York City with Olive and Swee'Pea in his stroller. Olive wants to go shopping and, while Popeye is helping her in the dressing room, Swee'Pea wanders out of the store with a dog. Popeye does not want Olive to know he lost Swee'Pea so he leaves dummies in the store as he goes to find him.
Popeye, Olive and Bluto are all truckers out on the road cross-country in their own little convoy (with CB radios and everything). Popeye and Olive Oyl are partners driving the same truck. Bluto thinks that he would do much better with his trucking business if he had Olive as a partner, so he tries to talk her into it. When she refuses, Bluto makes all kinds of difficulties for her while she's on the road, but Popeye comes to her rescue and saves the day.
Olive doesn't think that Popeye is romantic enough, so Popeye decides to build a monument dedicated to the both of them: he carves their pictures on a mountain. The ever-troublemaking Bluto also wants to impress Olive, and he starts to interfere with Popeye's work. He decides to carve his picture over Popeye's, and the battle is on. Popeye gets so mad that he throws Bluto into a pool. Before you know it, the whole mountain is gone. Olive then decides it doesn't matter if the world doesn't know that Popeye cares for her as long as she does.
Popeye is the last legionnaire manning the last outpost in the Sahara. Bluto is a desert pirate bent on taking the fort from Popeye. Olive Oyl is, of course, the damsel in distress. Bluto captures the fort, raising the Jolly Roger flag. He captures Olive. Popeye comes to her rescue, and they both work to defeat Bluto. Popeye and Olive live happily ever after at the outpost.
While Olive is spring cleaning one day, her parrot Polly accidentally escapes. Olive immediately calls for Popeye to help her. Of course, he's followed by Bluto, who also wants to help. Popeye and Bluto pursue the bird as well as each other, and when Popeye finally manages to get rid of Bluto and catch the bird, he discovers that it's the wrong parrot. Polly had returned home by herself.
Popeye and Olive befriend a little alien who's landed his spaceship in Olive's back yard. Bluto arrives on the scene and tries to capture the little spaceman so that he can take him on talk shows and become rich and famous as his agent. This time, however, the little spaceman eats some spinach, wallops Bluto and leaves for his planet, promising Popeye and Olive a return visit.
Sergeant Blast is teaching Privates Goon and Oyl how to dig a foxhole. Alice gets carried away and digs hers very deep. Colonel Crumb arrives and tells them that an important general is coming for dinner, adding that the General only drinks spring water. Since there is none on the base, he sends Sergeant Blast, along with Olive and Alice, to Mount Intrepid to get some fresh spring water.
Colonel Crumb makes Olive a Sergeant for one day, so that she and Sergeant Blast can finish the recreational room. Sergeant Blast is very surprised and very mad when Colonel Crumb informs her that Olive's bright colors on her side of the room are very good for the morale, and orders Blast to do the same to her side.
Privates Oyl and Goon go along with Sergeant Blast to Colonel Crumb's office. The Colonel has ordered them to do his paperwork. While the Sergeant is trying to fix his office up, Olive and Alice keep on messing it up. Colonel Crumb arrives and is very happy to see that in the middle of all the mess, Olive and Alice have found his Army yearbook.
While doing the laundry, Alice brought a hot-air balloon basket by mistake and herself, Olive and Sergeant Blast ended up taking a balloon ride. While enjoying the ride, Olive took some pictures with a camera that was inside the basket. On the ground, Blast reported them to the Colonel who, to her surprise, was very happy with what had happened, because he wanted to test the aforementioned camera and now he knew that it worked perfectly.
Colonel Crumb is going to Hawaii, however, he cannot get to his jeep because Fort Dragg is covered in deep snow. Sergeant Blast orders privates Oyl and Goon to clean up the snow, yet Alice and Olive misunderstand their orders after the Colonel's departure. They take the jeep and leave, leaving behind a very angry Sergeant Blast.
Private Oyl and Private Goon are getting on Sergeant Blast's nerves again and she has them polishing the flag pole to keep them out of her hair. It does not work so Colonel Crumb gives them the task of cleaning the new super silent troop train for the big army show. This ends up causing even more headaches for the Sergeant.
