Rex, the stolen God-horse of Sujan, escapes from his captors and hides in an abandoned mine. Crawford, unscrupulous sportsman, would stop at nothing to recover the priceless black Arabian stallion. Rinty, a homeless dog with almost human intelligence, sees Rex trapped in the mine and tries desperately to save him. Dorothy Bruce, attracted by the dog's action, starts for the mine to investigate, but meets with a mishap along the way.
