Five generations of the Stringo family have been shrimpers on the Texas coast. While most of the family have given up, there is one Stringo still on the water. Known as a nature-lovers paradise, the diverse ecosystems of Brazos Bend State Park attracts equally diverse people from the nearby metropolis of Houston.
