Pope and Pat meet by chance when Pope, fresh from overseas, is hit by Pat's car during an argument with a taxi driver. Mistakenly believing she injured him, Pat helps him to the hospital and takes him home, leaving a strong impression on Pope. Despite their connection, they part ways without exchanging names. Pope returns to find his father planning to marry Pim, Pat’s older sister, who has left her boyfriend, Arton—also Pope’s friend—for the wealthy man. Determined to stop the wedding out of loyalty to his stepmother, Pope mistakenly identifies Pat as Pim. On the wedding day, he kidnaps Pat instead of her sister, taking her to a remote island. Though initially hostile, the forced proximity leads to moments of care and growing affection, transforming their relationship amidst misunderstandings and conflict.
