Joining her boyfriend Eric (Paulo Angeles) on his internship in Taipei City, Ivi (Barbie Imperial) meets her grumpy neighbor Wei-Ting (Stephen Rong) and accidentally comes into possession of a mystical book that matches people who are destined to be together forever.
Ivi (Barbie Imperial) receives her first assignment from the Marriage Book and seeks Wei-Ting’s (Stephen Rong) help in reading the names written in it. As she tries to bring together her friend Tammy (Jai Agpangan) and Steven (Charles Wu), a tourist from their walking tour, a case of mistaken identity threatens to derail her plans.
Eric (Paulo Angeles) becomes increasingly jealous as Ivi (Barbie Imperial) pressures Wei-Ting (Stephen Rong) into helping with her second matchmaking assignment, so he investigates Wei-Ting’s background and unwittingly brings a painful family secret to light. Ivi and Eric’s relationship then arrives at a heartbreaking crossroad.
