A new set of journals and a new video showing the more important steps in making and decorating a book. For the first time I coat the whole surface of the book in glaire in order to tool directly with gold. This rapidly decreases the chances of making mistakes. Before this, I used to repeat the tooling, one time for creating the releaf and a second time to apply the gold. This sometimes leads to a mismatch between the two stamps, creating an unsatisfactory decoration.
