Carol a její ratolesti jsou v kostele a tak si Lambertovi vychutnávají nedělní ráno. To ještě neví, že Carol pozvala na oběd nového reverenda i s rodinou. Frank mu slíbí, že další víkend přijde i on s dětmi, ale zapomene na maličkost - finále fotbalového poháru. Reverendův syn se s JTm, který se během kázání vytratil, dívá na půdě na zápas a když je jde Frank vytáhnout zpět, propadne stropem. Cody má nové přátele - motorkáře Smrťáka a Řezníka, který se objevuje ještě v několika dalších epizodách.
Auch nach längerem Zusammenleben haben sich die Lamberts und Fosters ihre jeweils eigenen Sonntagsrituale bewahrt. Während Carol mit ihren Kindern Dana, Karen und Mark jeden Sonntag in die Kirche geht, widmen sich Frank, J.T., Al und Brendan einem großen üppigen Frühstück und schauen sich dazu Footballspiele im Fernsehen an. Doch J.T.t gibt es in Carols Kirche einen neuen Pfarrer. Carol bittet ihren Mann, sich den Neuen doch wenigstens einmal anzusehen. Frank gibt nach – auch wenn an diesem Sonntagmorgen ein wichtiges Spiel der Packers übertragen wird. Während des Gottesdienstes schaut sich J.T. das Spiel zusammen mit Michael, dem Sohn des Pfarrers, auf dem Dachboden der Kirche an. Auch Frank verschwindet bald nach oben. Beim ersten Touchdown der Packers macht er einen Freudensprung. Das ist zuviel für den morschen Dachboden, und Frank bricht durch. Er landet vor der versammelten Gemeinde mitten auf dem Altar …
While at church with the Fosters (and NOT the Lamberts), Carol invites the pastor and his wife over for Sunday lunch. The Lambert's notice that he is a normal guy, and Frank promises that the Lamberts will be there next week. Cody and his friends, Slasher and Death, come too because the Pastor is into bikes. The only problem is that a big televised Packer's game is on that week. While at church, JT sneaks away to watch the game, Frank follows him up and falls through the ceiling. Frank agrees to fix the roof and go to church from now on. The very next week he observes Cody, Slasher, and Death singing, ""Pharaoh, Pharaoh""-- a ballad of the Israelites to the tune of ""Louie, Louie.""
Carol et ses filles sont invitées par le Révérand Fielder et sa femme à déjeuner après la messe. Frank et ses enfants sont un peu gênés puisqu'ils ne vont plus à la messe depuis des années...
