Lisa Kendrick, une jolie jeune femme, est le seul témoin d'un meurtre. Du moins, c'est la version qu'elle a donnée à la police. Lorsque Carelli et Zachary, deux tueurs, se rendent dans la chambre d'hôtel de Lisa, Starsky et Hutch comprennent rapidement que celle-ci a quelque chose en sa possession, auquel les bandits tiennent fortement.
