This was the teaser episode (“Episode 0″) of the Standard Action webseries! If you’ve been with us from the beginning, you’ll remember it was first released in November, 2010. Now that the series is mid-way through the first season, this episode fits into its rightful place between Episodes 6 and 7. So, we’ve renamed it “Episode 6.5.” Nothing has changed but the name, but now you can watch it in context! Enjoy!
After being jumped in the night by a band of halflings with… unusual tastes, the party finds itself fragmented, and faces an even greater danger, this time from within.
Who says charisma is a dump stat? The party tracks down the thieving little cannibals that stole their gear, and Fernando shows them all what bards do best – spin a good story.
Armed with a foolproof strategy and a whole lot of enthusiasm, the party attempts to rescue the cleric Torval from hobgoblin clutches in as heroic a manner as they possibly can. Chaos ensues!
As the hobgoblin fortress draws ever closer, our adventurers make a new ally… but lose a few more.
Imprisoned by the enemy, our party starts to learn the extent of the evil villain’s dastardly plan. Wendy questions her convictions, Fernando learns a little too much about his family history, and Torval introduces a new player to the game.
As our villain puts his nefarious plans into motion, the party splits up in a desperate attempt to rescue Wendy. Everyone’s skills are put to the test in this explosive first half of Season 1′s finale!
The party – bumbling as they are – is the only thing that stands between our villain’s lust for power and the sleepy land they call home. Crom help us.
A few adventures under their belts, and the team is heading back home. Little do they know that saving the world from evil has attracted the attention of some… less than savoury characters.
With a well-placed magic missile, the party is haphazardly thrown through the very fabric of the universe! What twisted evils await them? And will they find their way back?
With the party split across multiple planes, our adventurers end up toe to toe with some unexpected evils... and some familiar faces!
Edda goes base to base with a masked man in the swamps, Fernando has his very foundations shaken by a vicious hobgoblin, and Wendy gets some horrifying news from the woman in white!
Back together in the forest, Wendy, Fernando and Edda face up to Martin’s awkward condition, and forthwith decide to take matters into their own hands.
With Orlando safely in custody, our adventurers try their hand (crotch?) at interrogation, and learn a thing or two about what they may be up against in rescuing Martin.
In a forest riddled with kobolds, Fernando introduces the party to an old friend, who takes them on a reckless journey after their missing Druid.
Last we saw Wendy, Edda and Fernando, they had left their home plane in search of Martin, with the help of Gary the Rogue and a magic bracelet shaped like a dead squirrel. Now, our team finds itself face to face with a hostile world full of fiery wands and talking walls. Back home, a familiar Wizard finds the evidence of their plane shift.
Lost in a strange new world, our team questions the motivations of their sneakiest member. Back home, Cedric approaches Jaina the barkeep about his newly-found loot.
The Dreamlands grow dark and dangerous for Fernando and Wendy on their search for Martin. Veronica the Sorcerer makes a deal with Cedric to find her missing husband.
Sent careening through the planes once again, the team lands in a world where the only way to communicate is through music… and they find they’re being followed.
Wendy comes up with a new strategy to find Martin back on the team’s home plane, while Martin reveals that he has a plan of his own.
Edda reconnects with her uncomfortable past, and Gary reveals a little more about his motives. Meanwhile, Ikosa watches all.
The team ventures into the unstable forest on their way towards Scyranyss. They send Edda ahead to scout… with terrifying consequences.
The team learns what a horrifying force they have released upon the world, and hurry to put an end to Malevolence the Clown's... malevolence!
Back on track after their side quest, the team finds the entrance to the tomb of Scyranyss, and begins a new, more dangerous game of wits with Ikosa.
The pieces start to fall into place as Wendy is forced into a fateful decision. Both Martin and Ikosa move their plans steadily forward, and a friendship takes a turn into darkness.
Ikosa regains her full strength, and tension builds on both planes towards the inevitable.
Ikosa's warning rings true, as Martin returns in the epic season finale of Standard Action.
We've been away from our team of adventurers - Fernando the Bard, Gwenevere the Sorceress, Edda the Barbarian, and Martin the Druid - for a few months, and it's time to stop in and get reacquainted.
