Cholo and Jodi are childhood sweethearts despite having different social statuses. One day, Cholo leaves for the US while Jodi is left alone only to be abused by her stepmother, Maita, and her daughter, Eunice. Years later, when Cholo and Jodi are about to meet, Jodi is hit by a car, driven by Eunice, and loses her memory.
