A když se to spojí s oslavou nové sochy, kterou mají zítra odhalit, sochy, která má být pomníkem citů, jež osazenstvo radnice chová ke svému městu, pak je každému jasné, že ten mejdan už bude stát za to. Jenomže na newyorské radnici se věci většinou nevyvíjejí podle plánu...
"Spin-Doctor" Mike verbringt eine Nacht mit seiner jüngsten Bekanntschaft, der überaus attraktiven Zauberkünstlerin Kaari. Was in Mikes Augen nur eine kurze Affäre ist, hat ein verhängnisvolles Nachspiel: Schon am nächsten Tag besteht Kaari ziemlich beharrlich darauf, Mike ihren Eltern vorzustellen.
