In San Francisco, for one day, there was an Uber Self Driving Car. Red light laws, unfortunately, still apply to it, and the uber autonomous car was caught driving through a red light, again, on the first day. California DMV officials have demanded the Uber self driving cars be taken off the roads until the company acquires the proper petition (which Google, Tesla, and GM self-driving cars already have).
