Aled Jones is in Bradford to celebrate it being the UK's City of Culture for 2025. He explores how faith and the arts are coming together to showcase this remarkable multicultural city. Aled meets the very Rev Andrew Bowerman, dean of Bradford Cathedral, to discover what the award means to him and the city. He then takes Aled to Bradford City’s football ground to introduce him to a specially formed choir with a difference – it’s made up of his fellow football fans, who have been brought together to represent and sing for their city! Aled also meets Irene Kalli, who was selected from hundreds of entrants to be one of the BBC’s ‘New Voices Bradford’. She tells Aled about broadcasting to the nation about her beloved home city and how she feels it is God’s call for her to bring joy to all she does. Aled then heads to the city’s iconic Science and Media Museum for a screening by local film maker Tom Harmer, exploring how he tells Bradford’s story through film and faith.
