Sean Fletcher is in Margate, in Kent, celebrating the importance of earthly fathers as well as the Lord God, our Heavenly Father. He meets Harry Baker, an award-winning poet and Christian, who became a dad for the first time last summer. Sean shares that it’s his 28th Father’s Day, as Harry marks his very first. They discuss the challenges faced by any new parent, as well as Harry’s novel way of recording the first 100 days of his little boy’s life in a series of poems. We visit a church group play session called Who Let the Dads Out, where the emphasis is on dads and their kids. Co-founder Mark talks about the importance of male role models, how it’s vital for dads to have a support group for them and their children, and how faith helps give the men a point of connection.
