At St Christopher’s Hospice in south east London, she discovers the story of the inspirational Christian founder of the modern hospice movement, Dame Cicely Saunders, and speaks to staff about why God’s love is so important in hospice care. Gemma Hunt meets an Exeter mother whose faith has helped her to live with the effects of chronic pain.
