Et fantastisk skibsvrag i Øresund er omdrejningspunktet for en ny udstilling på Søfartsmuseet, men eventyret slutter brat, da en af dykkerne på projektet findes død i den lokale dykkerklub. Dan og Flemming må grave i legenderne, ikke blot om skibet, men også om afdøde selv. Dan er flyttet ind i annekset hos Marianne og Flemming, mens han længes efter Josefine, der fortsat er i Sverige hos sin eksmand og stedsønner.
A spectacular shipwreck in the Øresund is the focus of a new exhibition at the Maritime Museum, but the adventure comes to an abrupt end when one of the divers working on the project is found dead at the local diving club. Dan and Flemming must delve into the legends, not only about the ship, but also about the deceased himself. Dan has moved into the annex with Marianne and Flemming, whilst he longs for Josefine, who remains in Sweden with her ex-husband and stepsons.
