오늘은 세계 여성할례 금지의 날입니다. 사실 저도 그저 지나가는 날들 중 하나라고 생각해왔었는데요. 솔라시도를 하면서 참 많은 것들을 배우고 있어요. 우연히 인터넷을 보다가 알게 되었는데요. 이 여성할례 라는 것을 예전 황금어장 무릎팍도사 라는 프로그램에서 한비야선생님편을 보고 조금은 알고 있었어요. 그 당시엔 '끔찍하다' 하고 넘겼지만 이번에 할례에 대한 지식들을 쌓으면서 참...정말 없어져야 할 의식이 아닌가..라는 생각이 솟구쳤어요.
솔라시도채널에서는 밝은 컨텐츠가 많았는데 이번 컨텐츠는 다소 진중한 컨텐츠라 굉장히 조심스러운데요. 많은 분들께서 사랑해주시는만큼 제가 알고 있는 것들에 대해서도 함께 나누면 더 큰 희망이 생기지 않을까 하는 마음에 이 영상을 준비하게 되었습니다. 전문가가 아니라 잘은 모르지만, 함께 알아가봅시다!
