Highly charged and fast paced, Situation Critical depicts the panic, relief, suspense and heartbreak of life in an urban emergency room. Tracking a range of trauma cases that come through hospital doors, five or six stories will be intercut for fast pacing, as narration provides crucial information and makes the link between stories. Shot in a “verité” style, audiences will witness dramatic stories while watching some of the best emergency medical teams as they fight to save lives against often-formidable odds, where every second counts.
