The landlady of House Eleftheriou is Emma ́s mother-in-law. The morose elder lived her childhood in Greece and witnessed the WWII. This event has been engraved in her mind and thus she became strict towards others. In reality she is compassionate, but she doesn't t want to show it. Although her husband and her son deceased she stayed strong and tries to keep the household in order.
