Cristóbal and María get their daughter back. Vanessa shows up in the baptism of Lupita and tries to kill Maria, but Cristóbal saves her, risking his life. Vanessa is taken to jail, Claudia attacks her with a knife and kills her. María regains her memory and assures Cristóbal that she will marry him.
