After losing her young son in a car crash Jessica becomes obsessed with press cuttings of other bereaved parents and her husband Mark suggests they move to the country. On the way they argue and there is another car accident but when Jessica wakes up in hospital she has gone back six months in time to the aftermath of her son's death. Mark does not believe her but certain facts come to show she is right,including one of the fatalities in her scrapbook. This means that Mark will die in another road accident and he seems unwilling to let Jessica prevent it.
