まき（松井愛莉）は山手（大貫勇輔）の温もりの中で目覚める。恭一（沢村玲）とは違い、穏やかに過ごす山手に安心する。一方、恭一（沢村玲）はまきに執着しつつも、寄島（吉本実憂）に会いに行き、2人の関係をまきが知ったことを聞かされる。
まきは、恭一が不在の隙に自宅を訪れ、荒れ果てた部屋を目の当たりにする。夫に支配されていた日々を思い出しながら、新たな離婚届と結婚指輪を残して、まきは部屋を後にする――
Maki wakes up in Yamate’s warm embrace. Unlike Kyoichi, Yamate’s calm presence puts her at ease. Meanwhile, Kyoichi, still obsessed with Maki, goes to see Yorishima and learns that Maki knows about their relationship. Maki visits their home while Kyoichi is away and finds the place in ruins. As memories of the days under her husband’s control resurface, she leaves behind a new divorce paper and her wedding ring—then quietly walks away.
