Weil die Heizung in Rockys Wohnung kaputt ist, lädt Cece die ganze Familie solange in ihre Wohnung ein. Alle freuen sich, mehr Zeit miteinander verbringen zu können, aber bald schon fangen die Mütter sich an, sich zu streiten und auch Rocky und Cece haben Zoff in der Schule. Als daraufhin beide Familien ihre bevorstehende Reise zum Grand Canyon absagen, ist Flynn sauer, weil seine Mutter ihr Versprechen gebrochen hat.
When the heat goes out in Rocky’s apartment, CeCe invites Rocky, Ty, and their mother to move in with them. However, the mothers' disagreements start to affect and ruin CeCe and Rocky's friendship. At the science fair the next day, CeCe and Rocky argue at school and ruin each others project on accident. When CeCe gets home she talks to her mom and both decide to cancel to trip. Unfortunately, Flynn overhears the conversation and storms out upset. Not realizing how much the trip meant to Flynn, CeCe's mom makes up with Rocky's mom and CeCe makes up with Rocky. Meanwhile, Ty builds himself a man cave to get away from the women of the house.
CeCe, Rocky, Flynn e Ty vogliono organizzare una gita attraverso gli Stati Uniti e a prima vista le madri acconsentono. Ma intanto la caldaia dell'appartamento di Rocky si rompe, allora CeCe la invita insieme a tutta la sua famiglia a stare a casa sua. Quando la madre di Rocky arriva nell'appartamento della famiglia di CeCe, inizia a litigare con la mamma di Flynn e CeCe Georgia e alla fine se ne vanno e il viaggio viene annullato. Il giorno dopo CeCe e Rocky litigano per quello che è accaduto tra le loro madri.Quando Flynn viene a sapere che il viaggio è stato annulato si arrabbia,ma dopo un lungo discorso riesce a convincere la madre a fare il viaggio,e CeCe e Rocky fanno pace.
Když v Rockyho bytě začne být horko, CeCe pozve Rockyho, Tye a jejich matku, aby se s nimi nastěhovali. Neshody matek však začínají ovlivňovat a ničit CeCe a Rockyho přátelství. Další den na vědeckém veletrhu CeCe a Rocky argumentují ve škole a navzájem a náhodou zničí projekt. Když se CeCe vrátí domů, promluví se svou matkou a oba se rozhodnou cestu zrušit. Flynn bohužel zaslechne rozhovor a je naštvaná. Když si neuvědomila, jak to pro Flynna znamenalo, maminka CeCe se sblíží s Rockyho maminkou a CeCe se vyrovnává s Rockym. Mezitím si Ty staví jeskynního muže, aby se dostal pryč od žen v domě.
