Masanobu Kousaka, a vassal of Shingen Takeda, comes to Hideyoshi bearing a large number of gifts. He tells them that another portion of the gifts are in a nearby temple. Mitsunari and Hideyoshi's other vassals are suspicious that this is a trap, but Hideyoshi heads to the temple without a care. At the temple, Shingen's other vassals--Masakage Yamagata, Masatoyo Naitou, Nobuharu Baba--along with the warlord Shingen himself, are waiting. Shingen offers to form an alliance and fight against the Oda Army, but Hideyoshi refuses. There seems to be a mysterious connection between Hideyoshi and Nobunaga.

三成たち家臣は罠かもしれないと怪しむが秀吉は意に介さず寺へと向かう。
寺には信玄の重臣である山県昌景、内藤昌豊、馬場信春、そして大将・武田信玄もいた。
信玄は、織田軍に対抗し同盟を結ぼうと申し出るが秀吉は一蹴。
秀吉と信長の間には、何か因縁めいたものがあるらしく……。
Takeda Shingen stattet Toyotomi Hideyoshi einen unerwarteten Besuch ab, um ihm ein Bündnis anzubieten. Währenddessen ruiniert Yuzuki Shingens Medizin und setzt alles daran, diese wieder zu ersetzen.
