Die Hochzeit von Susan und George steht kurz bevor - man braucht nur noch Einladungskarten. George sucht besonders billige Exemplare aus, wird jedoch von der Verkäuferin gewarnt, daß der Kleberand der Umschläge qualitativ schlecht ist. Dann die Katastrophe: George findet Susan tot auf dem Fußboden liegen. Die Todesursache war der giftige Klebstoff auf den billigen Umschlägen der Hochzeitseinladungen.
As the big day grows nearer, George and Susan order their invitations. Susan lets him choose the cheap ones. George tries to think of a way out. Elaine suggests smoking and Kramer suggests a pre-nuptial agreement. Jerry, thinking of a single future with Kramer, nearly gets hit by a car but is saved by his female equivalent, Jeannie. Jerry thinks he is in love with Jeannie. Kramer tries to cash in on a bank's offer of a $100 if one of their tellers doesn't say hello. Is "Hey," hello? George tries the suggestions and strikes out. Susan begins preparing the invitations. Jerry makes a decision. Susan passes out while licking envelopes. Jerry proposes marriage; later he has second thoughts. George finds Susan and the gang meets him over at the hospital, where George gets the news, he's out. Free at last, George makes another attempt at Marisa Tomei.
Jerry rakastuu suin päin, ja George potee hääkammoa häävalmistelujen edetessä yhä pelottavampaa vauhtia.
Le jour de leur mariage approchant à grands pas, George et Susan s'affairent à préparer les cartons d'invitation. Perdu dans ses pensées, Jerry est renversé par une voiture dont la conductrice s'avère charmante. A la réflexion, Jerry trouve que finalement, le célibat n'a pas que des inconvénients.
Ormai sembra tutto pronto per il matrimonio tra George e Susan. Entrambi si recano a comprare il materiale per gli inviti, mentre Jerry ed Elaine riflettono sulla nuova vita del loro amico. Ma un tragico incidente cambierà il corso delle cose.
Enquanto George continua com receio de se casar, Jerry conhece a mulher dos seus sonhos.
La boda de George y Susan se acerca, y tienen que mandar las invitaciones pero Susan se desmaya por el pegamento de los sobres. Jerry tiene un accidente de coche mientras piensa en que vivirá soltero con Kramer toda su vida.
Finalmente o grande dia está se aproximando e George procura uma maneira de cancelar o casamento. Elaine sugere que ele comece a fumar e Kramer sugere um acordo pré-nupcial. Quando vão escolher os convites George quer o mais barato e Susan acaba concordando. Kramer vai a um banco que promete oferecer dinheiro quando os atendentes não dizem “olá” ao cliente, mas quando ele chega o atendente diz um oi, motivo suficiente para Kramer querer ganhar algo, afinal “oi” não é “olá”. Susan começa a lamber os envelopes dos convites de casamento e começa a passar mal. Jerry ajuda uma moça e acha que finalmente encontrou sua alma gêmea. Susan vai para o Hospital, os convites eram tão baratos que possuíam alguma química nociva à saúde. Susan morre e finalmente George pode encontrar Marisa Tomei.
George posljednji put pokuša otkazati svoje zaruke. Jerry se zaljubi u ženu koja mu je vrlo slična. Kramer se sukobi s bankom zbog pozdrava.
