While in Tokyo for a martial arts tournament, Scooby, Shaggy and the rest of the Mystery Inc. gang, are confronted by the Black Samurai, an evil spirit who was vanquished in ancient Japan but has been mysteriously resurrected. In order to defeat the samurai, the gang will have to beat him in a treasure hunt across Asia, solving riddles and fighting a host of ninjas along the way.
