Mt Washington. At just 6,288 feet, or 1,917 meters, in a country home to the Rockies, the Sierras, and the Alaskan giants, it’s almost difficult to even call it a mountain. But, Mt Washington is deceptive. In fact, it’s no exaggeration to say that Mt Washington experiences some of the worst conditions, not just in the US, but anywhere on Earth. It’s for this reason that it actually has the record for the most fatalities per vertical foot of any mountain on the planet. These are the disturbing incidents of the most dangerous small mountain in the United States. As always, viewer discretion is advised.
