Ritsuko finds a groaning child in a car who suffers from heat stroke. A monkey unlocks a girl's hairpin and rescues the child. Ritsuko teaches Miki, who is surprised, that the monkey is a locksmith. After this, Ritsuko went to buy juice and saw Miki and Kaori talking to Takase and Uehara in the shadow. Miki and others were trying to deceive the monkeys. Ritsuko tells the truth, but Miki's lonely monkey doesn't believe the story. And the monkey promises to go to the futon room again in the middle of the night with Miki. However, Miki does not appear at all even in the middle of the night. When the monkey is sick, Kaori rushes into the room. Miki was taken away by someone by car. リツコは車の中で熱射病になり唸っている子供を発見。サルが女の子のヘアピンで鍵を開けて子供を救出する。リツコは驚くミキにサルが鍵屋だという事を教える。この後、ジュースを買いに行ったリツコは物陰でミキとカオリが高瀬、上原と話す姿を見かける。ミキらはサルたちを騙そうとしていた。リツコは真実を伝えるがミキにぞっこんのサルは話を信じようとしない。そしてサルはミキと夜中に再び布団部屋に行く約束をする。だが夜中になってもミキはいっこうに現れない。サルがヤキモキしていると、カオリが慌てて部屋に飛び込んでくる。ミキが何者かに車で連れ去られたのだ。サルらはミキの救出に向かうが…。
