As the Tokugawa troops march onto Osaka Castle, Chacha [Yuko Takeuchi] secretly meets Yukimura [Masato Sakai] and asks him to do something for her. Meanwhile, the Five Osaka Generals hold a war council in the presence of Hideyori [Taishi Nakagawa]. Yukimura insists on launching an attack on Ieyasu [Seiyo Uchino] in Kyoto, but everyone else is against such plan. Gradually, Katsunaga [Kenichi Okamoto] comes to approve of Yukimura's idea. However, Matabe [Sho Aikawa] remains adamantly opposed and argues that they should entrench themselves in the castle. Eventually, the time comes for Hideyori to make a decision.
徳川軍が大坂城に迫る中、茶々(竹内結子)は幸村(堺雅人)と密かに会い、ある願い事をする。一方、秀頼(中川大志)の御前で五人衆を集めての軍議が開かれる。幸村だけは、家康(内野聖陽)のいる京へ攻め込むことを主張するが、みな反対する。次第に勝永(岡本健一)は幸村の意見を認めるようになるが、又兵衛(哀川翔)だけは籠城すべきだと猛反対し続ける。そして、ついに秀頼が決断をくだすときが訪れる…。
