Sally is making glue for a papier-mâché ball. Thinking that Possum might like to help, she goes to get him but finds he is stuck after eating sticky honey all night. After Possum gets out, they pretend to have sticky feet. Inside they finish making Sally's papier-mâché ball and watch kids make their own balls. Sally and Possum go outside to play with the finished ball.
It's a very hot day and Sally is looking for fun things to do. She finds Possum keeping cool under the shade of his tree. They go to the beach but Possum decides he doesn't like to swim so instead they go home and make yummy banana ice creams.
Possum is busy painting when Sally notices he is not letting the paint dry properly. Sally teaches Possum how to let the wet paint dry first before touching it. Sally sees some of her plants have wilted and need water. Sally and Possum watch kids visit a farm to see how important water is for crops and animals. Thirsty work, Sally and Possum make lemonade.
Possum decides he wants a pet. Sally suggests lots of pet ideas including a fish but Possum thinks fish are boring. To see how exciting fish really are, Sally and Possum watch a school excursion to Underwater World. The school kids touch and feel lots of hard and soft creatures before Sally and Possum go on their own pretend underwater adventure. Sally helps Possum make an underwater collage.
It's a rainy day and everything is getting wet. Sally puts on her gumboots and gets her umbrella. Meanwhile, Possum stays dry underneath a branch until it breaks, getting him all wet. Sally and Possum enjoy 'pretend puddle jumping' before Sally teaches Possum how to grow mustard seed caterpillars in the kitchen.
Possum's door and Sally's drawer are both sticking and need to be fixed. Amanda the handy-person arrives with some sharp tools and fixes Possum's door. Together, Sally, Possum and Amanda watch children building things out of wood at school. Possum shows Amanda his tree house extension plans but they are far too elaborate, instead Amanda teaches Possum how to build a bird feeder.
Possum wants to do something special and surprise Sally. Digging Sally's garden possum finds Sally's ring and plans to surprise her with it later. Sally and Possum watch as children visit a wildlife zoo, touching and feeling all kinds of smooth and rough animals. Inside, Possum and Sally make fruit kebabs and ice a cake. Possum surprises Sally, putting her ring on top of the deliciously smooth cake icing.
Sally's waiting for her new fridge. Jay the deliveryman arrives at Sally’s door with the fridge but she cannot hear him knocking. Meanwhile, Possum takes the fridge. Jay and Sally realise the fridge is gone. Eventually Possum and Jay take the heavy fridge into Sally's kitchen. Sally, Possum and Jay watch kids make boats out of light polystyrene and Jay helps Possum make his own boat.
Sally's sink is full of little bubbles and she is doing the dishes. She decides it would be fun to make bubbles and Possum but he is feeling sad today. Sally cheers Possum up, taking him on a hot air balloon ride! Back at home Sally and Possum make lots of big and small bubbles together and watch as children play with bubbles at school.
Tonight, Sally is throwing a party. Possum is outside doing exercises with his stretchy resistance band. Possum and Sally go inside to get ready for the party but first watch how kids get ready for a party. Inside, Possum and Sally make decorations. Guests arrive and bring all sorts of stretchy and bendy things for the party.
It's a very cold day and Sally puts the heater on inside her house. She goes outside to see if Possum is staying warm in the cold weather. Possum is cold and puts on some extra clothes. Sally and Possum pretend to walk in the snow and watch as kids go ice-skating. Sally teaches Possum to make hot chocolate.
Sally is getting ready for a picnic with Jay and Possum. She needs to go to the shop first but needs to be fast to be ready for the picnic. Possum thinks Sally is slow going to the shop and that he'd be faster. Sally and Possum watch sprinter Sekou Kanneh practice running fast and make some special pocket-bread sandwiches for the picnic.
Sally finds Possum high up in his tree. He has climbed up to the top and wants to fly down. Sally thinks Possum should climb down and instead go for a pretend fly. Sally teaches possum how to make a kite and they fly it together outside.
When Possum becomes bored playing sports outside by himself, he sees Sally has picked some pumpkins from her vegetable patch. Possums asks Sally to play a game of soccer using her pumpkins as the goal posts for the soccer match. Sally plays for a short time but tells Possum she now needs to use the pumpkins to make pumpkin soup. Sally shows Possum how the soup is made. While the soup is cooking Possum goes back outside and plays soccer with the children. All that play, makes Possum very hungry.
Sally and Possum play cricket in the backyard. Possum hits the ball under the bench and then over the fence. Sally shows Possum the difference between over and under and then they watch school kids doing an obstacle course. Possum and Sally make their own obstacle course in the backyard going over, under and even through things. Sally teaches Possum how to tie a reef knot.
Sally is baking bread today. Sally goes to get Possum's help but he is upset because his boots don't fit him anymore. Possum thinks they've shrunk but Sally explains that Possum has just grown bigger. They size things up in the yard before going inside to measure how tall Possum is. Sally and Possum make a loaf of bread and learn the importance of measuring.
Sally is sorting plant pots from the garden. She asks Possum to help, but Possum ends up sorting the pots by colour, instead of size. They head inside so Sally can teach Possum to sort things by colour, size and shape. They also make their own playing cards—some different, some the same. Sally then teaches Possum how to play Snap.
It's raining outside so Possum is painting a picture of his tree when he knocks over his green paint. After cleaning up, he has no green paint left. Sally explains to Possum, that he can mix colours to make new ones. When the rain stops, they go outside and see a rainbow.
Possum kicks his ball up a tree and climbs up to get it. Meanwhile, Sally is inside washing up her many shaped kitchen storage containers. Possum spots shapes in the clouds from the top of his tree. They both go inside to make pizza. While the pizza cooks, they make a chart of all the shapes they see. Then they eat their pizza.
Possum tries to help Sally set up a tent in the backyard but he doesn't follow the instructions. Sally finds the instructions, and Possum sets up the tent. Possum tries to go to sleep, but is scared of the dark. Sally lends Possum a light and they learn about shadows.
Sally is making a shopping list. When Possum drinks the last of Sally's milk, he wonders where milk comes from. To find out, they watch kids visit a dairy farm. Possum helps Sally check-off items from the list, when she comes back from the shop. He learns about weighing and measuring things before making banana smoothies with Sally.
Possum notices that Sally gets letters but he doesn't. He thinks, maybe it's because the postman doesn't know where his tree is. Sally suggests, it maybe because he doesn't write any letters. Sally helps Possum write a letter to Amanda. While Sally posts Possum's letter, Possum writes a sign. Later on, Amanda visits with a letterbox for Possum. Inside is a letter for Possum.
Sally is baking cookies, while Possum clears out things from his tree. Sally gets Possum to help share out the cookies, by dividing then into equal piles. He begins to worry, with more people coming over, there will be less cookies for him. Outside, Possum's pile continues to grow. When Sally’s friends arrive, they all bring more cookies to share, and Possum is much happier.
Sally is boiling water in the kitchen to cook eggs for breakfast. Possum is confused, because there are no puddles from the rain he thought he heard last night. Sally teaches Possum all about water, steam and where rain comes from. Possum is keen to find out what volume of water has fallen, so they go inside and make a rain gauge together.
Sally and Possum are working in the yard. Sally leaves Possum to push a box in a wheelbarrow. Jay delivers a large, locked, wooden crate. Possum imagines what's inside. Possum gets Sally to help open it, but Jay explains there's a key. Sally pulls the key from an envelope, and Possum opens the box. Inside is a present. Jay helps Sally and Possum assemble it.
Sally tells Possum a story. When Possum wants to hear another one, Sally suggests he write his own story to tell. Sally helps Possum learn sequencing, and other tips on how to construct a good story. Possum draws some pictures too, and just as he finishes, Jay arrives and surprises him. Possum shows Jay his story about the time he delivered them a fridge.
Possum is at the tip of his tree watching birds flying. Sally receives an Air Mail letter, which Possum thinks flew there. Sally explains that it arrived by plane. Sally also explains, paper can fly if it is made into a plane. Sally and Possum head inside to learn how to make paper planes. Possum climbs his tree to fly his planes.
Wind has blown leaves all over the lawn. Sally uses her leaf blower to clean them up, but Possum jumps in the pile, sending leaves in every direction. Possum apologises and helps Sally clean up before building a pretend cardboard boat. Sally and Possum go on a real boat. When they return, they make a wind vane to tell which way the wind is blowing.
Sally is re-potting some of her bigger pot plants. Possum helps and they talk about the importance of trees. Sally gives Possum instructions on how to move plants into the ground that are too big for their pots, so that they will continue to grow. Possum decides there is one plant that really needs a nicer pot, so Sally suggests they make one using clay.
Possum doesn't know the meaning of 'treasure', so Sally teaches him. They decide to plan a treasure hunt for Sally's friend Amanda. Together they write the plan and choose what treasures to put in the treasure chest. They also think where best to hide it, and create a series of clues to help Amanda find it. Amanda arrives, and together they complete the treasure hunt.
Did Sally make those muddy footprints in the kitchen? Well, who did? This looks like another case for Police Officer Possum, and what a clever way he has to find out who made them.
Aha! Has Sally got a new ladder for Possum to climb? No, this belongs to someone else. What new things will Possum learn now?
What can you fold besides towels and clothes? Where will Sally put her buttons? Possum, that folding is amazing!
A spade is very useful, but not for every job. Skip and Sally help Possum to find out about many other tools. What would you use to get Sally's bike standing up again?
Rush, rush, rush. Possum is in such a hurry today, he doesn't even stop for breakfast. He may run out of energy. What can Skip do to help?
Reflections are remarkable. Possum enjoys learning about mirrors. But what is going on in the yard? Is this a reflection too?
Where is that wheelbarrow? If only there was a way of showing where it is. Possum and Sally find a great way to locate the wheelbarrow and everything else in the yard.
Hmm. Possum loves to draw, but is he really looking carefully at what he is drawing? Wait till you see how much better he gets when he learns to look for details.
Possum seems to think that the more flowers he puts into the vase the better it will look. Then he learns how to find odd and even numbers and think carefully about the arrangement. How nice they look now!
Where is Possum? That looks like the start of a book. Sally and Possum begin from there to put together a wonderful book. Let's get some friends in to celebrate the first reading!
Possum loves to study things carefully. Sometimes things are small and hard to see. What a difference a magnifying glass can make!
Possum is good at counting, but sometimes he needs to record just how many he has counted. Sally teaches him how to tally. Now, what about all those tools in Skip's shed?

Half an hour is a long time for Possum to wait for food. What a good time to learn about telling the time and about clocks. The pie must be ready by now!
Finger spelling is good for showing people words. Possum knows Auslan signs and lots of finger spelling words. Now Possum School is on again and he is learning to write some words in English too.
Skip has been working on something amazing and now it is time to see it in action. But Possum has been busy too. Watch carefully!
