To train for the nationals, Harue schedules the club to play against prefectural runner-ups. Immediately, Ako utters "Nagano", Kiyosumi's prefecture, as the first one to visit, and therefore, they play Ryūmonbuchi High. There, Koromo Amae overwhelmingly defeats Shizuno but doesn't discourage her or the team. Then, the excited team proceeds to defeat other schools at other prefectures. After a ten day training camp, the girls set off for the nationals. While stopping at a rest stop, Shizuno and the others meet Toki Onjōji and Ryuuka Shimizudani from Senriyama Girl's High, who are also seeded in the nationals. As the club finally reaches the nationals, they briefly walk pass Saki Miyanaga.
阿知賀に戻ってきた赤土晴絵をコーチにむかえ、本格的に活動を開始した阿知賀女子麻雀部。日本リーグで活躍した晴絵の指導と猛特訓の末、ついに迎えたインターハイ県予選。１回戦で優勝候補である「晩成高校」の大会10連覇を阻止し、全国大会出場を決めた。しかし、全国には思いも寄らない強さを秘めた者たちが沢山いる。そこで晴絵の提案で各県のNo.２と練習試合をする旅に出ることに。そこでまず最初に向かったのは長野県の予選第２位、「龍門渕高校」だった。

El Achiga Women's Mahjong Club ha comenzado actividades a gran escala con Harue Akado regresando a Achiga como entrenadora. Después de la orientación y el entrenamiento especial de Harue, quien jugó un papel activo en la liga japonesa, finalmente se alcanzó la Clasificación Inter-Alta Prefectural. En la primera ronda, bloqueó el décimo campeonato consecutivo de "Late High School", candidato al campeonato, y decidió participar en el torneo nacional. Sin embargo, hay muchas personas en todo el país que tienen fortalezas inesperadas. Entonces, por sugerencia de Harue, decidí hacer un viaje para jugar un partido de práctica con el No. 2 en cada prefectura. Entonces, el primer lugar al que fui fue "Ryumonbuchi High School", el segundo lugar en la ronda de clasificación en la prefectura de Nagano.
Tempo di campionati prefetturali, il primo scoglio da superare per guadagnarsi un posto agli Inter High. Sulla strada della Achiga c'è la Bansei, la scuola favorita dai pronostici. Solo una volta nella storia la Achiga è riuscita a batterla... quando fra le sue fila militava una certa Harue Akado...
