Shunto and Rikito are two orphaned child whose mother have passed recently. Being the younger child, Shunto is unable to cope with the absence of his mother and goes to a small temple to pray everyday so that his mother will come back to him, even though this was against his older brother's idea.
One day Ririn happen to pass by the small temple and saw two apples placed there as worshipping items. Being naïve and hungry, she would have taken those fruits if it was not for Shunto stopping her. After hearing Shunto's story, she asked Shunto if his mother was kind and wanted to meet Shunto's mother as her own mother wasn't very kind to her. She decided to help Shunto and Rikito to get their mother back.
Shunto y Rikito son dos niños huérfanos cuya madre ha fallecido recientemente. Siendo el niño más pequeño, Shunto no puede hacer frente a la ausencia de su madre y va a un pequeño templo a rezar todos los días para que su madre regrese con él, aunque esto iba en contra de la idea de su hermano mayor. Un día, Ririn pasó por el pequeño templo y vio dos manzanas colocadas allí como artículos de adoración. Siendo ingenua y hambrienta, habría tomado esos frutos si no fuera porque Shunto la detuvo. Después de escuchar la historia de Shunto, le preguntó a Shunto si su madre era amable y quería conocer a la madre de Shunto, ya que su propia madre no era muy amable con ella. Decidió ayudar a Shunto y Rikito a recuperar a su madre.
