Chibiusa, Tuxedo Mask, Sailor Moon und die Sailorkrieger machen sich auf den Weg in die Zukunft und treten in den Zeitstrom ein. Dort treffen sie auf Esmeraude und ihren Helfer Luaques. Esmeraude hat den Befehl, Chibiusa und Sailor Moon lebend zu fangen. Doch sie ändert die Pläne und gibt Befehl, Sailor Moon töten zu lassen.
ChibiUsa uses her key to transport everyone to the door of time, but on the way they all get separated and Sailor Moon finds herself alone. When she approaches the door of time, she is attacked by a shadowy figure. ChibiUsa arrives just in time to stop the attacker (who is actually Sailor Pluto) and beg entry into the door of time. As the group struggles through the corridor of time, the are attacked by Esmeraude. The blast sends the group flying, seperating the Warriors, Tuxedo Mask and ChibiUsa again. ChibiUsa is wandering around when she sees her mother! Just as she is about to hug her, she realizes that it's really a droid in disguise. The Sailor Warriors arrive and, with the help of ChibiUsa, use a group attack to defeat the droidl After everyone is reunited, the group steps through the gateway of Crystal Tokyo and views the ravaged ruins of the city.
Les guerrières et Tuxedo Mask tentent d'aller dans le xxxie siècle mais Esmeraude sème des embûches pour les faire prisonniers du temps.
Sailor Moon, las Sailor Scouts, Tuxedo Mask (Darien), Luna y Artemis viajan con Rini hacia el futuro. Esta vez Rini logra que la llave del tiempo funcione, debido a que está llena de determinación y a que ya no tiene miedo pues tiene grandes amigos y aliados. Todos llegan a la puerta del tiempo resguardada por Sailor Plut. Ella les agradece la ayuda, felicita a Rini diciéndole que la razón de que pudo viajar en el tiempo es que ha madurado, y les desea la mejor de las suertes a todos. El grupo avanza por un camino esperando llegar a la puerta de salida tras la cual está el futuro, pero un nuevo enemigo los ataca, dispersándolos a todos. Las Sailors ven como el Cristal de Plata de Sailor Moon brilla, reaccionando con el Cristal de Plata del futuro, con lo cual saben que camino tomar. Tuxedo Mask es guiado por una misteriosa voz, con lo que también llega a reunirse con todos. Rini es atacada por el enemigo pero todos llegan a tiempo para salvarla. Rini decide que no huirá más y enfrenta al enemigo con sus poderes, dándole la oportunidad a las Sailors de derrotarlo. Finalmente todos llegan a la puerta de salida, sólo para descubrir que Tokio de Cristal en el siglo XXX es un lugar en que reina la oscuridad, la destrucción y el silencio.
