  • S01E01 Rubik, the Amazing Cube

    Carlos, Lisa and Reynaldo have a Halloween night misadventure. After their trick-or-treating is done - Carlos decides the thing to do is to investigate the neighborgood haunted mansion. Quickly their investigation turns into a rescue mission as Rubik gets lost and scrambled in the basement of the abandoned house. The kids and Rubik soon discover that the house is occupied by diamond thieves who have created a cloning device to multiply their stolen treasures. But when the mad sicentist in charge discovers Rubik and his powers he decides that the cube should power his cloning machine and make it work even better. The result is hundreds of scrambled Rubik's Cubes. Maybe this is how Rubik's Cubes got into the world. So not only must the kids rescue Rubik, they have to figure out which cube is him!

  • S01E02 Back Packin' Rubik

    The kids and Rubik go on a school camping trip. Lisa doesn't care much to rough it, Rubik just likes hot dogs roasted over an open fire, and Carlos is all about pulling scary pranks on his brother and sister in the middle of the night. In the process, he and Rubik discover that a couple of shady characters are up to some spooky business in a nearby graveyard. Reynaldo and Lisa join Carlos in solving the mystery, by tracking down the shifty thieves and discovering what's in the coffin they dug up.

  • S01E03 Honolulu Rubik

    Rubik discovers the beach life on the family vacation to Hawaii. When he has an unfortunate run-in with a really mean crab, Rubik ends up in peril, all mixed up in the water. He is rescued by a Hawaian boy named Kimo and is returned to his grateful friends. Rubik's multicolored faces remind Kimo of a mysterious crystal embedded in a nearby volcano which is supposed to be inhabited by a ghost. The kids are so intrigued and curious to see whether the crystal has anything to do with their cube that they talk Kimo into taking them up to see the crystal and the ghost. That night, on the the way up the volcano, Kimo slips and falls. So it's Rubik and his powers to the rescue, and his secret is out. And when the kids and Rubik make it to the top to see the crystal, they discover, not only a lonely ghost, but also a couple of creeps who intend on stealing the pricelss crystal.

  • S01E04 Rubik and the Buried Treasure

    Now what could possibly happen on a sunny day of fishing? Well, when Rubik tries to use magic to help reel in a big fish, things go awry. His magic beam goes astray, acciedentally snatching a treasure map from a couple of escaped criminals who are nearby, preparing to sail to a local island and retrieve the hidden loot. The map somehow ends up imprinted on Carlos's shirt and the two thug sailors capture the kids in order to recover the map. In the fray Rubik gets scrambled and is tossed out to sea, only to be resuced by a dolphin and a monkey (Yes, it's true, a monkey CAN solve a Rubik's Cube). Rubik, who has landed on the same island as his friends, the bad guys, and the treasure, tracks down the kids, and it's up the all of them to ruin the plans of the criminals. This is, of course, done with a little magic and the help of the island curse.

  • S01E05 Rubik and the Lucky Helmet

    Reynaldo has entered a cross-country bike race. He's practiced and ready and things look promising, all due to his lucky helmet. But the neighborhood bully, Jaws, and his buddies, the Sharks, also want to win the race. They make off with Reynaldo's helmet and now Reynaldo has decided he can't race without it. Rubik, Carlos, and Lisa come up with a plan to retrieve the helmet, and nearly pull it off. The only other solution is to replace the hemlet with a duplicate. And on the day of the race Reynaldo gets to find out whether it's his skills or his lucky helmet that will help him beat Jaws.

  • S01E06 Rubik and the Mysterious Man

    Carlos feels unappreciated. No one wants to help him do his chores except Rubik, who gets a little carried away and mostly makes things worse. So Carlos decides to run away. He and Rubik take off in the middle of the night, followed by Reynaldo and Lisa, who are determined to get them to come home. In the train yard (which is the first place all kids seem to go when they run away) Carlos and Rubik run into a mysterious man who turns out to be Rubik's old master. He is bent on getting the cube back and once again making Rubik his slave. Suddenly Carlos is no longer running away, but has joined his brother and sister in a rescue effort. They have to get Rubik back before the evil carnival magician has a chance to use Rubik's powers against them.

  • S01E07 Rubik and the Pooch-Nappers

    One Saturday morning Rubik decides to help the kids by giving their dog Sparky a bath while they watch cartoons. But Rubik doesn't know much about givng a dog a bath and makes a real mess of things. Sparky is banished outside until the kids can learn to take better care of him. To get him back in Mom and Dad's good graces, the kids decide to enter Sparky in a dog show, hoping he will impress them by winning. Rubik of course kicks in with a little magic at just the right time and Sparky wins with flying colors. But some local crooks also notice Sparky's talents and decide to kidnap him and train him to commit crimes. Now Rubik and his friends have to get sparky back from the crooks and foil their big robbery.

  • S01E08 Rubik and the Science Fair

    Carlos has a pretty neat science project. So does mean old Jaws. And Arnold is pretty frustrated that he has misseed the deadline to enter the science fair. The next morning, when the science projects turn up sabotaged, there are plenty of suspects. But there's more to this than a school science fair gone bad. A couple of government investigators are also interested in what's going on. Working on their own, Carlos, Reynaldo, Lisa and Rubik discover a rogue robot, much too advanced to be some kid's project. The governement agents soon catch up with them and warn them to stay out of the investigation. But of course Rubik and the kids must know whodunit.

  • S01E09 Rubik in Wonderland

    It's a stormy night, perfect for settling in for some good TV. Lisa is excited to be watching her favorite fairytale cartoon, "Alice in Wonderland." But suddenly the storm takes out the TV signal and the fun's over. So Rubik decides to take the kids to Wonderland himself. They zip right into the TV (A little too Poltergeist for me) and find themselves in Wonderland. They try to help rescue the White Rabbit from the Queen of Hearts and her henchmen, only to find that he has been accused of stealing her crown. They learn that the crown has really been stolen by a giant whose lackeys are hiding nearby. They notice Rubik and his powers and decide he must be captured and stopped from helping the kids resscue the crown in order to restore the White Rabbit's good name.

  • S01E10 Rubik's First Christmas

    It's Christmas and the family is on a trip down to Mexico to see Grandma Ria, a vibrant active lady who loves life and the village kids. She has planned a wonderful Christmas for them, complete with presents and decorations. But the truck with all the Christmas surprises has been stolen by a couple of juvenile joy-riders. The truck gets hijacked by a couple of crooks, who plan to raid some ancient pyramids for gold and jewels. When Grandma finds out her Christmas toys have gone missing, she's off to get them back, with the help of Carlos, Reynaldo, Lisa, and Rubik, who likes Grandma but must hide from her to remain a secret. However, grandma is pretty sharp and after one too many amazing things happen, she's onto Rubik and the kids. When it looks like the crooks might get away and nothing else can be done, Grandma lets on that she knows the secret. Rubik is now free to use his amazing powers to save Christmas and make a new friend.

  • S01E11 Saturday Night Rubik

    Reynaldo has decided to enter the school dance contest. The only problem is Reynaldo is kinda clumsy on the dance floor. And Jaws is trying to steal Cathy, his date to the dance, by playing lots of dirty tricks to make Reynaldo look even clumiser than he already is. Things are looking pretty bleak after Reynaldo makes a mess of a party at his potential date's house, thanks to Jaws. He's ready to give up, but Rubik, Lisa and Carlos encourage him to go it on his own, and Rubik gives him a little help with his dancing until he can get the hang of it. After a mishap or two, Rubik and the kids make it to the dance where Reynaldo wows the crowd, including Cathy, who starts to realize she's misjudged him. And somewhere along the line Rubik discovers that he also likes to dance, while Reynaldo discovers he's a pretty good dancer all on his own.

  • S01E12 Super Power Lisa

    Lisa has a problem feeling important. So she talks Rubik into endowing her with the super powers of her favortie TV heroine, Powergirl. After she averts a disaster which threatens to destroy a local children's home, Rubik discovers that it wasn't an accident. A couple of land developers are trying to scare the children and their caretakers out of the home, all the while making it look like and accident. Lisa is determined to get the bad guys, whether she has super powers or not. And of course Carlos, Reynaldo, and Rubik have to get her out of trouble.
