And as part of a promotion for Clive James' "In London" magazine, they reunited a mother with her daughter who had been living in London for a couple of years.

Included a visit by Rove to the Taronga Zoo to be a zookeeper for a day, as well as the three latest Big Brother evictees, David, Christie, and Rita, plus a fake interview with Australian Discovery Astronaut Andy Thomas. Also more "Hit and Myth", as well as Pete reading excerpts from Bec Cartwright's wedding poem to Lleyton Hewitt, and Queens of the Stone Age performed live.
On this episode was one of Pete's DVD reviews, looking at a Scrabble documentary entitled Word Wars. They also launched a new segment, "This Week in History", with guest Tamsin Carroll. Also done several times throughout the show were "Frozen Moments", where Rove, Pete, and some of the guests made a pose or did something in front of a line of cameras to create a bullet-time shot. And Rove decared Isla Fisher to be the show's 1,000th guest!
Featured some circus acts, Big Brother evictee Melanie, and live crosses to the Discovery landing. Rove also spent 2 Minutes in a Live Lister's house, had a game of My Charader, and demonstrated the "Vinyl-o-pod" - an old-fashioned alternative to the iPod.
With Big Brother winners Greg and David, runner-up Tim, and final evictee Vesna, as well as a fake interview with Arnold Schwarzenegger, and a "live cross" to Randy the Panda (played by Pete). Also featured a Big Brother quiz, Roving With Rove, and a competition between two Live Listers to create a giant portrait of Megan Gale...using thousands of litres of ice-cream. And Alex Lloyd performed his single, "Never Meant To Fail".

Rove teamed up once again with Caleb (the six-year-old Slim Dusty fan with aspirations of becoming a real estate salesman) to try and sell a house. Also featured an interview with "Postman Cat" (played by Pete), 2 Minutes in Your House, and Rove even tracked down infamous "Talent Time" organist Wayne Miller to once again perform for the nation.
Rove Live's 200th episode! This two-hour show featured a number of highlights from past episodes and reflections from Rove, Pete, and Corinne. Also included Hit & Myth, a fake interview with Ricky Martin, a Live Lister trying to earn a performance by Manpower in her living room, some My Charader, and a brand new Video Request, with Rove creating his own version of Robbie Williams' "Feel"!
Ron returned with a review of the new "Dukes of Hazzard" movie, Rove went Roving to find out what office animal people were like, Rove picked out a couple of Live Listers (one Australian and one New Zealander) to take part in next week's show, and also an interview with the returning Jay LeFay (played by Pete), who was supposedly the wedding planner for Jordan and Peter Andre. And Rove attempted a Jackass-style stunt on Pete, but wound up making him explode!
As well as the array of guests, this episode featured some live lister fun, with two live listers going head-to-head in a "Cocktail World Cup", sliding down a ski ramp while trying to mix a cocktail. Also saw some special cameos from Michael Buble and Moira. Band Garbage performed "Why Do You Love Me?"
Included a hedge trimming competition between two Live Listers (assisted by Hamish & Andy), as well as a "From the Vault", done to what was (supposedly) the original Rove Live pilot episode.
As well as the line-up of guests, this episode saw Rove invading the new show "Australia's Brainiest Kid", a fake interview with "Steve Irwin", a new episode of the radio serial, Simple Plan performing live, and a challenge to Rove to see how many Tim Tam balls he could eat in 30 seconds!
An interview with the "Crown Prince of Greenland" (played by Pete), an investigation by Hamish & Andy into how many free samples you can grab from a supermarket, more AMAZING TALENTS, 2 Minutes in a Live Lister's house, and another Hit & Myth. Also, Rove went Roving With Rove to ask who is smarter, men or women. And finally Pete, alongside Ben Lee, took us back to 1983, when the first mobile phone was introduced into Australia.
Featuring the interview Rove has been wanting for months - The Hoff, live in the studio! Also, some Live Lister action, with Rove challenging a fan to bowl as many pins over as possible in 60 seconds (for money), and a musical edition of My Charader, with Sarah McLeod and Paul Mac. Mac also performed his single Sunshine Eyes. Plus some random sketches, with Rove and Pete listing off ways you could change the world, and an excerpt from a self-help DVD entitled the "3 Year-Old Kid Method", suggesting that simply throwing a temper tantram can get you anything.
Rove joins the circus for the day, Pete reviews the 50th anniversary of Eurovision special, Ron returns with a review of Pride and Prejudice, and a fake interview with Luciano Pavarotti. Also, Anne from Australian Idol, Grinspoon performing live, and the first ever vasectomy broadcast live on Australian television!
Featured Rove nabbing two Live Listers from their homes and maing them lick chocolate off people for money, a dress-up for Star Wars fans, Daniel from Australian Idol, and Bernard Fanning performing live.
Rove and Pete presented another "From the Vault", some Live Lister fun (with a competition between three LL'ers to find Rove within a field of garbage bins), and Dan England from Aussie Idol.
With the final three Australian Idol contestants, Lee, Emily, and Kate, 2 Minutes in Your House, Flick Your Switch, a "live satellite cross" to one of the producers of a new relaxation CD for animals (played by Pete), and Rove playing with an electric fly swat!
The 2-hour finale of Rove Live for 2005. As well as the line-up of guests, this episode saw a new Ron's Review (Chicken Little), My Charader, a "live satellite cross" by Pete to George Bush, an assistant dog helping present "What The...?", live music by The Strokes, as well as a video package showing some of the highlights of the 2005 season. As well as being interviewed, Bert Newton interrupted a product promotion skit by Pete and Moira (firstly the "Britney Spears Pop-O-Vac", and then the "Bert Newton Hyper-Colour Toaster"), to tell Moira that he has always hated her. And Rove was on the verge of shooting himself after attempting to give away six new Toyota "Yariseseseseses", repeatedly discovering that the viewers that had been picked to win were either idiots or ineligible for the contest.
It was a very different Rove Live that returned for 2006 on Valentine's Day. After kicking off with a big song and dance number, the show featured a new set, new segments, new gags, and for the first time an in-house band that provided musical stings on either side of the ad breaks. Guests included Pamela Anderson, Merrick and Rosso, Biggest Loser trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper, The Backstreet Boys, Bodyjar (as the house band) and The Living End to close the program. Plus, Rove went Roving With Rove to ask some kids about love, and we saw the debut of "I Want my Stuff Back", in which Rove helped a man get his camera back from his sister who borrowed it two years ago.
This show was action packed with your Hollywood favourites, Harrison Ford, Jesse Metcalfe and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The Casanovas were in the studio and The Rogue Traders ended the show with their hit single "Watching You". The show would have been nothing without the old favourite "What The...?" There was also the part "I Want My Stuff Back" which is always hilarious to watch. Rove and Pete also launched a new segment, "Hang up/Don't Hang up". And for the first time we met Carrie Bickmore at the news desk, giving us the latest "headlines".
Rove chats with Lord of the Rings star Viggo Mortensen and actor-turned-designer Priscilla Presley. Adam Rozenbachs was the guest comedian and music came courtesy of Kisschasy and End of Fashion. Carrie at the news desk returned, as did Ron, providing his picks for the Oscars. Rove also debuted a new segment, "Tipayatung", in which Pete, guest Julia Zemiro and an audience member competed in a complete-the-phrase style quiz. And after getting some suggestions from the audience about the worst things to have on a pizza, Rove and Pete crossed to a nearby Domino's to order the worst pizza they could think of, which Pete named the "Rove Live Ringburner" (after the effects it would no doubt have on anyone who ate it).
Broadcast live from the home of Don, a viewer in Sydney, this episode featured Sir Richard Branson, Merrick & Rosso, Steve Corica and Mark Rudan from Sydney FC, another Ron's Review, and Shannon Noll performing live. Rove also did a live cross to Hollywood for an interview with up-and-coming film star "Les Harris" (played by Pete), and Carrie once again joined us from the news desk.
With Wolf Creek's John Jarrett, comedian Julia Morris, house band The Pictures, and Pete Murray performing live. Plus, a special live version of I Want My Stuff Back, more headlines with Carrie Bickmore, and Rove hits the streets to see what the perks are of running in the Queen's Baton Relay! Finally, we saw the debut of the Helpdesk, where Rove, Pete, Julia Morris, and Adam Richards answer questions sent in to them (which quickly descended into a five-minute fart joke!).
With comedian Arj Barker, Commonwealth Games "duckboy" Sean Whitford, house band After the Fall, and band Yellowcard. Plus, Rove took a Commonwealth Games athlete into his house, sent Table Tennis competitor David Zalcberg on a scavenger hut into the athlete's village, kept a live phone on the set that anybody could call, and oversaw a product war between Pete and George Foreman!
Guests included Amanda Bynes, Kanye West, and Dave Hughes. Music from The Hot Lies and the duo of Jimmy Barnes & Tim Rogers. Plus, Rove challenged a viewer to paint her entire house orange for $200,000 to take off their mortgage, Pete stalked Ian Thorpe to find out if he really was "fully sick", Carrie gave us another news update, and Dave and Amanda joined Rove and Pete at the Help Desk!
