Santa Pudenziana, daughter of Senator Pudens, SS.Pietro and disciple of Paul, according to the tradition of the Legends on Martyrs Romans, was martyred along with her sister Prassede during the early persecutions. The prof.Stefan Heid of PIAC, Pontifical Institute of Christian Archaeology, reconstructs the true origin of the Roman Legends, placing them in the difficult historical context of the early Church. But the church dedicated to S.Pudenziana, one of the oldest in Rome, also allows, through the contributions of Edmund Power Sun Abbot of S. Paolo flm Pen and mons.Romano the Pontifical Lateran University, a leading expert on Italian St. Paul, to deepen the figure of the Apostle of the Gentiles and of the particular historical moment that saw the spread of the Christian message in all walks of life. Il prof.Stefan Heid del PIAC, Pontificio Istituto di Archeologia Cristiana, ricostruisce la vera origine delle Leggende Romane, collocandole nel difficile contesto storico della Chiesa dei primi secoli.
