Rachel Lynde hat sich gut erholt und möchte nichts sehnlicher, als nach Avonlea zurückzukehren. Im Zug hat sie einen neuen Schlaganfall. Doch selbst das kann sie nicht aufhalten. Sie kämpft sich nach Avonlea und bis vor Hettys Haustür durch. Allerdings ist sie sehr erschöpft und kann nicht sprechen. Wird sie sich erholen und ihren Lebensmut wiederfinden? (Text: Bibel TV)
After recovering from her stroke, Rachel Lynde embarks on a return trip from her son's home out west to Avonlea. On the way, she suffers a second stroke that leaves her unable to talk. Hetty King takes her in to nurse her back to health but Rachel's son wanting to take her back to BC with him. Hetty, Davey, Dora and Olivia all aid in getting Rachel talking again, with help from the most unlikely source - Pierre (the chef at the White Sands).
Miután felépült a szívrohamból, Rachel Lynde elindul fia otthonából haza, Avonlea-be. Hazafelé újabb roham éri, minek következtében képtelen beszélni. Hetty King magához fogadja, hogy meggyógyítsa, de Rachel fia vissza akarja vinni őt. Hetty, Davey, Dora és Olivia mind segítenek, hogy ismét szóra bírják Rachelt, és a legvalószínűtlenebb helyről is támogatás érkezik: Pierre-től, a szakácstól.
