Kona er myrt á hrottalegan hátt fyrir framan barnunga dóttur sína sem er eina vitnið. Rannsóknarlögreglumaðurinn Huldar fær barnasálfræðinginn Freyju til liðs við sig, en þau eiga sér flókna fortíð. Saman reyna þau að raða saman brotakenndum vísbendingum áður en morðinginn þaggar niður í stúlkunni.

A woman is brutally murdered in front of her toddler daughter, who is the sole witness. Detective Huldar enlists child psychologist Freyja to assist him, but the two share a complicated past. Together they race to piece together the fragmented clues before the killer silences the little girl.
