While waiting to meet with Professor Cho in Cambodia, Sydney and Nigel are hijacked by Masters, a demolition expert who takes them to meet with Sydney's nemesis Fabrice De Viega (from ""Sydney at Ten""). De Viega wants them to help him recover an urn containing the ashes of Confuscius, located in an underground chamber beneath a mine field that is about ready to be bombed in four hours. To assure their cooperation, De Viega has had Karen kidnapped. Masters helps Nigel escape a mine but is then killed by another booby-trap. With their expert gone, the three take to a stream to bypass the mine field and get to the underground tunnels. They get hold of the urn but when Deviega ends up on the wrong side of a pitfall with time running out, Sydney forces him to send the signal to free Karen in return for helping him escape. Karen is freed, and Sydney and Nigel manage to escape long enough to take refuge in an abandoned tank as the mine field is detonated by the bombing whi

Sydney e Nigel si trovano in Cambogia per incontrare il Professor Cho, quando vengono prelevati da un uomo che li conduce da una vecchia conoscenza di Sydney: nientemeno che DaViega. L'uomo chiede aiuto ai due per ritrovare l'urna contenente le ceneri di Confucio, le quali si trovano in una camera nei pressi di un campo minato che sta per essere fatto esplodere nelle prossime quattro ore. Per assicurarsi la collaborazione di Sydney e Nigel, DaViega ha rapito Karen. L'esperto di mine di DaViega muore, ma nonostante questo i tre riescono comunque a raggiungere i tunnel sotterranei e ad individuare l'urna contenente le ceneri. Sydney costringe DaViega a dare il segnale affinché Karen sia liberata. Poi, insieme a Nigel, la cacciatrice di reliquie trova rifugio in un carro armato, pochi istanti prima che il campo minato venga fatto detonare. DaViega è apparentemente morto, ma un successivo fax stabilisce che forse l'idea che il "nemico" sia morto è forse un po' troppo prematura.

Sydney y Nigel son retenidos por Fabrice De Viega, un experto en demoliciones que quiere que le ayuden a recuperar una urna, que contiene las cenizas de Confucio, enterrada en un campo de minas. Para asegurar su cooperación, Fabrice secuestra a Karen. Tras sortear las minas y llegar a los túneles, Sydney y Nigel rescatan la urna.
