Dennis hat immer noch Probleme bei der Arbeit und vertraut sich seinem Kollegen Craig an, der daraufhin mit wilden Verschwörungstheorien aufwartet. Als Katherine unerwartet im Büro auftaucht, kommt es zu einer spontanen Mittagseinladung von Craig, die – obwohl Dennis sie lieber ausschlagen würde – von Katherine dankend angenommen wird. Mickeys Laune sinkt mit steigendem Druck vom Sender, und dass Amy inzwischen fast ausschließlich heulend auf ihrem Bett liegt, sorgt auch nicht gerade für gute Stimmung. Daher muss ein neuer Plan her: eine neue, beste Freundin für Amy – passenderweise von Mickey gecastet. Diese wird nun in die Schule eingeschleust, um für ein wenig Wirbel zu sorgen. Mickey and the network are pissed that Dennis refuses to take the bait and cheat on his wife. The network tells Mickey he better figure something out and fast. Mickey feels that even though Dennis won’t stray, maybe he can manipulate things to get Katherine to cheat. She’s been frustrated lately and may be open to the opportunity. Mickey stages a situation where Katherine bumps into Chad, the hunky masseuse Mickey used earlier in the show. Amy is furious she’s still grounded and defiantly sneaks out of the house at night to go out partying with Yvonne. They make a stop at Yvonne’s sleazy friend Eddie’s place to make some quick spending cash for the evening.
