He creates a spacious living area on the ground floor, builds three bedrooms and a luxurious master suite on the second floor, then adds a unique third-story loft that provides an amazing view of the mountains.

He excavates the basement to provide more headroom, knocks down the back wall to extend the house and turns the dated boxy interior into a modern, open, light-filled space. Keith puts the bedrooms on the new second floor and above it all, he creates an enormous rooftop deck with a spectacular mountain view.

    An investor brings Keith a promising flip prospect that another builder started, but abandoned in the early stages of demolition. It's an early 20th Century Craftsman bungalow with an unfinished basement and a classic Craftsman style interior. Keith and the partner triple the home's livable square footage by finishing the basement, adding a second story and putting in all-new mechanicals with contemporary Craftsman interior finishes.
