With Yomiko, Nenene, and the Paper Sisters captured, the Gentleman transfer begins, and the heroes attempt to talk Joker and Wendy out of their plan. Drake creates a distraction while Nancy infilrates the Resurrection Chamber to free Junior. Nenene reveals she's hidden her manuscript under her shirt, providing ammunition for the Paper Masters, and the fight very quickly turns to their favor. Junior transfers part of the Gentleman energies into Joker's mind, sending him white haired and catatonic. Junior is freed from the Gentleman Key, although it tries to attach itself to Anita instead and nearly kills her. Ultimately, the Ressurrection Project fails, the British Library collapses, sending its members on the run. Wendy hides in the country to nurse Joker. Michelle makes sure Junior is back to normal, while Maggie does the same for Anita, and Nenene and Yomiko join Nancy on a trip to India so Nancy can recover some of her memories. Drake returns home to his daughter.
