猎户之女“玉兰”因救驾被皇帝带入宫中，暗中调查父亲姬严纶蒙冤被害的真相。她凭借刺客遗留的青龙玉佩锁定宫中嫌疑人，却遭屡次陷害。玉兰以智谋化解危机，步步晋升为兰妃，并获太后赏识掌协理六宫之权。真相大白时，玉兰方知父亲之死是与皇帝合谋的舍身布局，只为肃清朝堂。最终皇后幡然悔悟，丞相伏诛。玉兰选择与皇帝携手治理朝堂以，情义相守共创盛世。
