Govardhan is outraged after learning that Aditya had talked about divorce to Pankhuri before marriage. Pankhuri likes Aditya's honesty and decides to follow her heart whereas Aditya vows to remain practical to avoid heartache. Pankhuri's family decides to reject Aditya's wedding proposal. Aditya tries to talk to his parents about Pankhuri but he gets dejected after witnessing another fight between Harish and Avantika. He tells Purshottam that he does not want to marry Pankhuri.
