Soon, it gets apparent how society was driven by gender roles when Gautama explains the throne's significance to Khanderao. Later, Ahilya finds out that her newlywed friend, Renu is finding it difficult to live with her in-laws.
Ahilya and her friends rush straight to the temple where Sushila and Mankoji are waiting. She gets scolded by her mother for arguing with the Pandit. Ahilya answers all the questions correctly, which enrages Khanderao and Gautama. Khanderao is not willing to talk to Ahilya at all, but Tukoji comes up with an idea that will surely make him come around.
