Bobbie is suspected of poisoning Marlene, as she cooked her steak, but the women realise Edna did it. Rachel and Judy go to see Ann, but she wants proof of their allegations. Reb wonders how she can get Bobbie off the hook about her attack without lagging. Heather grows suspicious of Joan's actions during the riot. Joan plots to transfer Marie to Blackmoor. Rachel phones Edna's husband to warn him about her. Marlene worries about Bobbie after finding a suicide note on her bed. Dennis rescues a man from a crashed car just before it catches fire. Marie threatens to expose Joan, demanding she help her escape. Dot accidentally scalds Mrs O'Reagan and herself with hot fat. Bobbie tells Marlene she was going to kill herself, but stole the wrong pills from the infirmary. Joan is informed that Ann has been reinstated.
