早川涼は天性の野球の才能を買われ、名門お嬢様学校「如月女子高校」に特待生として入学する。理事長・氷室桂子は女子だけの野球部を創設し男子と対等に甲子園で闘う事を狙っていた。涼にとって、名門お嬢様学校での生活は慣れない事ばかり。そんな涼は、大酒飲みの監督・木戸と共にまず部員集めから始めていくが…。
