ポニーテールはふり向かない

ドラマー一家の父子家庭で育ち、傷害事件を起こして少年院に収監された少女が、ドラマーへの道を志し、ロックバンドを結成するまでの過程を描いたドラマである。音楽を題材にした他のドラマやアニメが「バンドを結成してデビューした後」の過程に重点を置いた作品が多い中で、本作は「バンドを結成してデビューするまで」の過程に重点を置いている。
